Stubbs' Music

STUBBS'  EDUCATIONAL Foundation

For over forty four years Martha Stubbs has dedicated her professional career to developing young people's musical talents.  In an effort to financially reach out to outstanding, needy, and minority students Martha and her husband Ron have founded an endowment program.  Through scholarships and special programs, high achievers and students in need of financial assistance will have opportunities currently not available.  Individuals will have the opportunity to select the instrument of their choice, although piano is encouraged until the basic skills are mastered.  Martha and the Board of Directors would like to have you join their team in developing the corpus for this endowment.  As you know, Martha is an individual concerned about the need for quality fine arts programs.  Now is your opportunity to say, yes, Martha, I support you, your ideas and the values for which you stand.
WHO WILL BENEFIT?  Endowment funds will will
primarily benefit students in grades K-12th and we have
an endowed scholarship for music students who attend
      Tallahassee Community College.
WHEN DO THEY APPLY?  Applications are accepted
      during the month of May.

HOW WILL SCHOLARSHIP MONEY BE DISPERSED?
Scholarship funds are paid directly to qualified providers.
WHO CAN BE PROVIDERS? All professional music
instructors may complete the provider application and
submit to the Board of Directors for approval.
WHO SELECTS THE RECIPIENTS?  A panel of teachers
and educators will recommend potential scholarship
recipients to the Board of Directors.
WHY CONTRIBUTE?  All contributions are potentially tax-
deductible.  Make a difference in the music education in your com-
munity.  Help fulfill a dream of music instruction.

WHAT TYPES OF CONTRIBUTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED?
Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Securities, Real Estate,
Testamentary Bequests, Life Insurance Policies, In-kind
     Gifts are all possibilities.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?  Inform others of this foundation.

school music teachers of your interest in quality music
education.  Know that music is fundamental to the
development of a child's mind and spitit.  Believe in us and
call today to learn how you can participate!

Stubbs' Educational Foundation's goal is to provide music scholarships for K-12th grade students in North Florida and South
Georgia.  At least 70% of the scholarships go to financially need-based
students and the remaining to merit recipients.  Through our community partners- Boys and Girls Clubs of the Big Bend, Boys Town of North Florida, Tallahassee Community College, Lighthouse Children's Home, and Good Samaritan United Methodist Church we have been able to enhance the lives of many children that would have never had the opportunity to learn music.
